| Welcome to Ma Bien-Aimée meaning 'my beloved' in French. This is a small site I made for Oscar François de Jarjeyes, one of the the main characters of the manga/anime series The Rose of Versailles by the talented shoujo artist Riyoko Ikeda. All the written material in the site were initially produced for a high school homework about three years ago. I recently reread it and thought that it would make a nice little shrine with some extra stuff. I hope you'll find some of my opinions on this wonderful heroine interesting ^^ Though I must warn you, I'm not a native English speaker so you'll probably find some mistakes here and there. Don't hesitate to e-mail me to correct them ^.~ | |

20.01.10 Hey there! Long time no see... I've updated the manga scans gallery and added a bunch of scans from Chapter 2. Enjoy ^^ 20.09.08 "On the Night of Passionate Vows" is under construction but when it's back, you're gonna love it! 08.06.08 YES! I've actually updated my shrine! Yaa~y!!! I re-edited all the scans in the manga image gallery. I've also added a bunch of scans from chapters 7 and 1. More on the way so stay tuned~! 14.04.08 Everyone you have to see this! It's the HILARIOUS RoV-themed commercial for Daihatsu. To see the poster of the commercial, click here. Link to the video has been added to the Miscellaneous section. 11.12.07 Now all the characters in the Relationships section have a different color of rose! This was an idea that came to me years ago back when I was dangerously obsessed with RoV. I think the symbolism is pretty apparent but I'll still list the meanings of different colors of roses to save everyone from adding another penny into Google's pocket ;) Yellow: joy, delight Pink: grace, gentleness Orange: passion Red: love (obviously XD) 10.23.07 Happii proudly presents her latest lemon fic, Confrontation! She wrote it for the Hot Fanfics Contest in the LadyOscar.com Forums. This time she wrote a non-lemon fic so it's safe for most people to read *raises one eye-brow* 04.25.07 Now my LiveJournal is 98% public! I didn't realize that the Lady Oscar movie links were removed. But I added a great new Takarazuka MV by AiNoSonata. Do check it out, it's great! 04.09.07 Here'a a huge update for all of you! How do you find the new layout? I like it very much. It's much simpler than the previous one but still elegant. Also people who couldn't see my page correctly should have no problem now. The above one must be my favorite manga picture of Oscar. Isn't she just beautiful? I couldn't dare touching the image because it's soooooooo beautiful. It has very few effects on it. The letter is a wonderful fanart by Illa MGM. If you look closely you can see that it's signed by Oscar and the last line says « ...,et devant vous je remets mon destin entre les mains de celui que j'ai toujours aimé... André Grandier. » meaning '...,and I put my destiny on the hands of the one I always loved... André Grandier.' I think it's to be a letter from Oscar to the soldiers of Company B. You can read the whole letter here. Thank you Illa MGM for letting me use it in my graphics ^^ Apart from the layout, I made little changes here and there, most of them being in the Miscellaneous section (formerly 'Downloads') I added 18 manga scans from Chapter 6! Sorry, couldn't help it ^^; Oscar's just too beautiful in the second half! Also, I added some new YouTube links including the the new Toei anime movie teaser! Lastly, I added a ridiculous poem I wrote when I was 12 and a fanart by my best friend Beren. It's nice to see their shiny codes on my site ^^ 03.11.07 Happii proudly presents her own version of On the Night of Passionate Vows! It her first RoV fanfic as well as being her first lemon fic *blush* She was satisfied with neither the anime or the manga versions of the most anticipated RoV scene, so she thought for days and days during classical music concerts, before going to sleep and whenever she had free time to come up with the perfect love confession scene.
